GibAnn Berryhill has lived in Little Rock, Arkansas since 1976. She has a BA in Psychology and Special Education, and her MA in Professional and Technical Writing, both degrees completed from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Before Little Rock, GibAnn spent her adolescent and teenage years in Zambia, Africa, as a missionary kid.
As a mom, GibAnn loved homeschooling her two children through middle school and some of their high school years. She taught high school English at a Little Rock inner city school, and in later years, taught college writing at UALR. Around 2004, she transitioned from teaching into medical grant writing with UAMS. After 15 years at UAMS and since 2019, she has been a grants pre-award officer with the University of Arkansas of the Division of Agriculture.
GibAnn is married to Dennis Edge and has seven grandkids that she is ga-ga crazy about. She and Dennis love their families and friends, their camper, and their chickens.
As co-manager of the Broadmoor Pool with her daughter, Anya, and member of the BPOA Pool Committee, she absolutely loves to see kids and families enjoy the neighborhood pool.
